The Adelante movement - Empowering latina women



The Adelante Movement is a demotic movement that endeavors to unite and empower Latinas economically. It will relate Latinas and their families to work, start-up capital, franchise and entrepreneurial opportunities, and mentoring — to enable them to organize collectively by playing a leading role in American society, economics, and politics. The Adelante Movement should help Latinas become an integral part of the national discussion so that they can give their children’s future they deserve as a legitimate part of this country.

“Latinas are the largest economic sector in this nation with a buying power of more than $1 trillion,” says Nelly. The Adelante Movement: Tour for economic empowerment in Latina because women are already leaders at the conference. We want Latinas to take the jobs, entrepreneurial and business opportunities we share back to their cities and towns and turn them into a countrywide economic boom. I dream that the Adelante Movement will help Latinas achieve economic independence to make their own and their children’s choices.
